The Smart Growth Coalition continues to focus on increasing general public awareness of land use issues affecting quality of life and prosperity, and assisting in organizing a broad-based network of supporters to work together for policy changes. We have implemented a plan to help individuals and communities understand and invest in smart growth through identifying the growing number of excellent examples of best practices and smart growth principles that are leading to greater prosperity in southwest Ohio and the Tristate. In addition, encouraging competition for better initiatives can only improve the success of our region.
